For more than 40 years TUFLIN® sleeved plug valves have proven to be reliable shutoff and throttling service devices. They are used in a wide range of severe and highly demanding services - ideal for corrosive, scaling, adhering, inflammable, or erosive flow media. These valves show excellent performance in traditional ball and gate valve applications, and they offer a cost-efficient solution for tight shutoff and throttling of gases, vapors, slurries, etc.

The compact, robust valve design and the low weight of that reliable
on/off and throttling device guarantee that they can even be used under severe service conditions. The PTFE-sleeve is completely locked into the valve body by 360° port defining metal lips. The sleeve surrounds the conical plug and serves as a self-lubricating seal against leakage through ports and to the atmosphere. The plug rotates in the PTFE-sleeve firmly embedded and aligned in the valve body so that the plug cannot be seized. That special valve design doesn’t allow any sleeve deformation, flow or migration into the waterway duct. A cold-flow or deformation of the PTFE-sleeve is not possible. The special TUFLIN^® design accommodates specified changes in temperature, high vacuum and rated pressures.
