TUFLIN® control plug valves for precise throttling service

The proven design and sealing principle of the standard TUFLIN® sleeved plug valve was the basis for the development of the TUFLIN® control plug valve. The exact throttling is achieved by a special flow cage fixed on the valve bottom in combination with a special control plug.

• Flow cage fixed on the valve body prevents any rotation.

• Required cv-value of the control plug valve is defined by the sectional surface of the flow cage.

• If the cv-value has to be changed, the flow cage can easily be replaced.

• Every required cv-value between minimum (0°) and maximum (90°) may be obtained by rotating the control plug, and so the requirements of the customers' working conditions can be easily fulfilled.

TUFLIN^® control plug valves can be supplied with various end connections:

• Flanged ends

• Screwed ends up to DN 80 / NPS 3 (Whitworth R or NPT)

• Weld ends (butt weld or socket weld)

• DN 25 to DN 300

• NPS 1 to NPS 12

Other sizes on request

• DIN PN 10-40, PN 63-100

• ANSI Class 150, 300, 600

As standard, TUFLIN^® control plug valves are delivered in carbon steel and a variety of stainless steel materials.

Other special materials like Argonit®, alloy 20, monel, nickel, hastelloy B and C, titanium stellite, zirconium, inconel are available upon request.

As standard, all sleeves are made of pure PTFE (no regenerate), also PTFE fiberglass reinforced sleeves as well as TFM sleeves are available upon request.

• 173 K to 553 K (- 100 °C to + 280 °C)
